1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EduLane (the "Platform", "EduLane", "we", "us"), available at edulane.io. By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. About EduLane
EduLane is a discovery and application platform that helps students research universities and academic programs worldwide and submit applications directly through the Platform. University information, including program details, tuition and admission requirements, is sourced from publicly available university websites, automated data collection tools, and information submitted directly by universities.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You may not: submit false or misleading information in your profile or applications; attempt to scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Platform without permission; interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation; or impersonate any person or entity.
5. University Listings and Accuracy
EduLane takes reasonable steps to keep university and program information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. Program details, deadlines, tuition, and requirements can change without notice. Always verify critical details directly with the institution before making decisions. If you notice inaccurate information, please report it via our Contact page.
6. Applications
Submitting an application through EduLane does not guarantee admission. When you apply to a program, your application and relevant profile information are forwarded to the corresponding university. Each university reviews applications and makes admissions decisions independently; EduLane has no role in and is not responsible for the outcome of any admissions decision.
7. University Accounts, Subscriptions, and Payments
Universities may create institutional accounts to manage their listings and may purchase paid subscription plans for enhanced visibility, featured placement, or additional platform features. Subscription fees are billed in advance through our third-party payment processor and, except as required by applicable law, are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date through the university's account settings or by contacting us.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on EduLane, including the Platform's design, text, and software, is owned by EduLane or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. University names, logos, and trademarks displayed on the Platform belong to their respective institutions and are used for identification purposes only.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may link to university websites and other third-party services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduLane is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, the outcome of any application or admissions process, or inaccuracies in university-provided or publicly sourced information.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
