University & Program Listing Guidelines
Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. Purpose
These guidelines apply to any university, program, or admissions information published on EduLane, whether submitted directly by an institution through a university account or collected by our automated data tools from publicly available sources. They exist to keep the information students rely on accurate and trustworthy.
2. Accuracy and Truthfulness
All information in a listing must be true, current, and not misleading. Listings containing false, outdated, or deceptive information may be edited, suspended, or removed without notice.
3. Permitted Content
Listings may only describe genuine, currently offered academic programs at accredited or officially recognized institutions. Listings for programs that do not exist, are no longer offered, or are not properly accredited are not permitted.
4. Titles and Descriptions
Program titles and descriptions must clearly and accurately reflect the actual program offered, including its degree level, field of study, and language of instruction. Exaggerated, deceptive, or clickbait-style titles are not allowed.
5. Required Details
Listings should include all information students need to evaluate a program: degree level, duration, language of instruction, location or campus, tuition, and admission requirements. Listings missing essential details may be flagged as incomplete or deprioritized until corrected.
6. Images and Media
Institutions submitting their own photos and media must use real, current images of their own campus, facilities, or official materials. Stock photography or images of another institution presented as your own is not permitted.
7. Tuition and Pricing Information
Tuition and fee information must be accurate, complete, and clearly indicate the currency and billing period. Listings with missing or materially incorrect pricing information may be removed until corrected.
8. Correct Category and Level
Programs must be listed under the correct degree level (e.g., Bachelor's, Master's, PhD) and field of study. Miscategorized listings may be reassigned or removed.
9. Keeping Listings Up to Date
Institutions are responsible for promptly updating or removing listings for programs that are no longer accepting applications, have closed, or have changed materially. EduLane also periodically re-verifies listings against public sources and may update or remove outdated entries.
10. Duplicate Listings and Misrepresentation
Publishing duplicate listings for the same program, copying another institution's listing content, or misrepresenting the identity of the institution behind a listing is strictly prohibited.
11. Contact Information
Institutional accounts must provide valid, monitored contact details. Listings associated with unreachable or invalid contact information may be suspended.
12. Respectful and Lawful Content
Listing content must comply with applicable law and may not contain offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory material.
13. Enforcement
EduLane reserves the right to edit, suspend, reject, or remove any listing that does not comply with these guidelines, at our discretion and without prior notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension of the associated university account, as described in our University Subscription Terms.
14. Contact Us
