About Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine

The Vitsebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine is a recognized center for higher education and research in Belarus, leading institution in the veterinary sector. It includes 3 faculties (veterinary medicine, biotechnology, continuing education and professional development), 26 departments, an Agricultural College, branches in Rechitsa, Homiel region, and Pinsk, Brest region, a Research Institute of Applied Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. Today, the academy employs 128 candidates, 16 doctors of sciences, and 13 professors. The rector is Olga Gorlova, candidate of veterinary sciences, docent.
