Tennessee State University is a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located in Nashville, Tennessee. It has been recognized by Forbes as one of the top 10 public HBCUs in the nation. The university is currently projecting a significant increase in enrollment for Fall 2026. A new $60 million engineering building is being built to enhance student learning and workforce readiness.
