Muhammad al-Xorazmiy named university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is preparing for the upcoming academic year. The rector B. Maxkamov announced readiness for the 2026/2027 academic year preparations. Starting from 1st August, applications are being accepted for new students joining. On 17th August, a call was made for 'Gender Equality Report - 2026' by the Women's Affairs Committee of the university. On the same day, a memorandum was signed to strengthen the dual education system. The objective is to improve energy sector and time-consuming scientific and technical fields with the help of experienced professionals and young specialists. The seminar for PhD holders was also announced on 15th August. On 17th August, Erasmus+ KA171 academic mobility call was made for professors from this university and 'Academy of Technical Applied Studies Polytechnics' in Serbia.
