Tarsus University was established in 1992 as Tarsus Vocational High School under Mersin University. Its educational activities have been expanded with the establishment of Tarsus Technical Faculty in 2001 and Applied Technology and Management University in 2005. Currently, it operates with 4 faculties, 1 institute, 1 higher vocational school, and 2 vocational high schools. It is involved in various educational programs and initiatives.
