About JIS College of Engineering
JIS College of Engineering is a pioneer in technical education in West Bengal, established in the year 2000 as the flagship institute of JIS Group Educational Initiatives. Located in Kalyani, Nadia, it has grown into one of the most respected autonomous engineering institutions in the region and is the first private engineering college in West Bengal to receive Autonomous status from UGC in 2011. Accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade, approved by AICTE, and having multiple NBA-accredited programs, JISCE consistently ranks among the top private engineering colleges. In NIRF 2025, it was positioned in the 201–300 band nationally in Engineering.
