ETSU was founded in 1911 with a singular purpose: to improve the quality of life for people in the region and beyond. It offers nearly 14,000 students from 80 countries and nearly every state 180 highly respected academic programs, many nationally ranked. The university is known for having among the top ten percent of colleges for least amount of student debt. ETSU is Tennessee’s largest public Academic Health Sciences Center.
