Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) is a pioneer in engineering education in Bangladesh especially for diploma engineers. Founded as the College of Engineering, Dhaka in 1980, it became an autonomous institution under the Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, Gazipur Act 2003. It offers B.Sc. Engineering/B. Arch. degree to eligible diploma engineers from around the country. The university has over 3500 undergraduate and graduate students and is known for its stellar learning performance.
