The Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU) was established in 1921 and is a leading medical institution in Belarus with an international reputation. The university offers education on 9 faculties, including medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, preventive medicine, pharmacy, foreign students' faculty, pre-university and postgraduate training, military medicine faculty, faculty of additional education for healthcare workers, and 3 institutes - military medicine and higher qualification and retraining of healthcare personnel, scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine.
