Bamyan University is one of the largest higher education institutions in Afghanistan, established in 1996 (1375 Hijri Shamsi), but closed due to internal conflicts until it resumed operations in 2003 (1382 H.S). It has around 7 faculties, over 5,500 students, and approximately 200 lecturers. The university aims to nurture a generation equipped with modern knowledge who are also devoted to the ethical, cultural, and historical values of the country.
