The Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova (ASEM) was founded in 1991. It consists of six faculties, 26 departments, seven centers, and two schools: the School of Masteral Studies and the Doctoral School. The institution has a solid infrastructure including a scientific library, a department of information technology, several continuous education and consulting centers, two sports complexes, 27 computer rooms, a medical-consultative center, a rest area at Vadul-lui-Vodă, among others. ASEM is a renowned academic brand for about 70,000 alumni since 1992. Currently, over 7000 students study at ASEM, and the institution employs over 150 doctors in sciences.
