About this program

The Graduate Academy at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg aims to enhance and improve the PhD programs offered by the university. It collaborates with all institutions leading to a doctorate, faculties, and graduate schools. The faculties and graduate schools conduct the PhD programs and are responsible for the PhD process from admission to completion. The Graduate Academy aims to strengthen research at the University of Würzburg across disciplines and support researchers in early career phases. It provides information on PhDs at the University of Würzburg and offers services for all PhD candidates and postdocs, regardless of their disciplinary background. It also coordinates paths towards a university-wide PhD enrollment and the development of the framework PhD regulation for the entire University of Würzburg. The Graduate Academy reports and advises the university management on the topic of PhDs.
