The mission of the Luna Community College Nursing Department Program is to prepare students to practice as Registered Nurses. The educational program will take place within an environment that emphasizes life-long learning and inquiry for both instructors and the community of students.

Nursing is a rewarding career in high demand, which offers many challenges and opportunities within diverse healthcare settings. Upon successful completion of the second year nursing courses, a student receives an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing and is eligible to take the NCLEX- RN.
