About this program

With a view toward developing better intercultural understanding, this course introduces students to the spiritual perspectives of Eastern cultures, and to the philosophical issues at play in them. Our readings will mostly be selected from primary classical texts dealing with Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Taoism.
