About this program

Collaborative research across disciplines such as Bioinformatics, Environmental Genetics, Agricultural Sciences, Evolutionary Biology and Genetics, Food Science, and Evolutionary Medicine. The interdisciplinary approach is institutionalized by the involvement of top faculties, leading research centers, and other major collaborative research projects at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. The common goal within the Research Focus KLS is to advance life science research and establish Kiel as a significant national and international hub in this field.
