About this program

Provides eligibility to become a licensed elementary teacher (K-6) and gain an additional endorsement to teach special education from K-12. Exposes to evidence-based teaching methods and classroom practices, as well as positive behavioral supports needed to meet the needs of all students.

Awarded to our students each year. The Learning Actively Mentoring Program (LAMP) is a mentoring and professional development program to bring active-learning strategies into Wyoming science classrooms, and it offers you the chance to teach active learning.

Work with all disability categories in special education in grades K-12, and in addition, provides flexibility to teach all students in elementary school based on current district needs. Potential jobs: Elementary teacher, Elementary special education teacher, Special education coordinator, Special Education Case Manager, Resource Teacher.
