About this program

Build Community: The Community Art Scholars build a community through shared experiences and collaboration. You will form strong bonds with the other Scholars and a shared sense of purpose to create a supportive network of student artists.Grow Your Practice: You can deepen your artistic practice in the scholarship program through hands-on experiences, field trips, and access to faculty and professional mentors. You will cultivate creative and professional skills as well as receive valuable guidance, helping you refine your work and develop as an emerging artist-leader.Extend Your Reach: By planning events, leading projects, and developing programming, you will connect with diverse audiences and contribute to York’s vibrant arts scene. Community Art Scholars serve as ambassadors for Marketview Arts and the York College art programs.
