Students study domestic livestock, including sheep, cattle, goats, swine, horses and poultry. The curriculum includes a strong emphasis on biological and physical sciences, as well as animal health, nutrition, reproduction and management.

Graduates are prepared for further studies leading to careers in veterinary or human medicine.
