The Bachelor of Laws programme at Mandhu College has been designed to address the requirements of the new Constitution of Maldives and also the requirements for practitioners by the Supreme Court of Maldives. While the programme retains the essential components of any undergraduate programme in law, it also includes modules on Islamic Sharia, which is a requirement for lawyers practising in the Maldives.

The programme allows students to focus either on commercial law, criminal law or human rights law. The programme is fully accredited with the Maldives Qualification Authority and accepted by the Department of Judicial Administration as meeting licensing requirements for practising law in the country.
