Bachelor of Arts in History

About this program

The Bachelor's program in History is accredited and lasts for 3 years/180 credits. The study of history falls within the fundamental domain of humanities sciences. Students will gain access to basic concepts, theories, and methods of history and the field of specialization during their studies at this level. Research in the scientific field of history is conducted through collaborative groups consisting of faculty members from departments within the Faculty, masters, and doctors, including: the Accredited Institute of Systemic Archaeology 'Iuliu Paul' and the Accredited Center for Historical and Political Research 'Iuliu Maniu'. During the Bachelor's degree (daytime courses, with a duration of 3 years (6 semesters)), students not only study subjects related to their specialization but also attend the first module of psychopedagogical preparation. Upon completion of their studies, in addition to the Diploma of Bachelor, they also receive a Certificate for entry into the teaching profession.
